PERSONAL NOTE . . .
As a person who chose to create and develop her own firm, I believe it is important for each and every potential client to know a bit about who I am. After all, you are choosing to engage me in an important endeavor….
to nurture and protect your grand idea
to build your legacy
to expand your vision, creation, and wealth
to fight for fairness, justice, and you!
Professional reputation is important to me. I desire more than merely solo projects or even repeat business. While it may begin that way, I ultimately want to form long-term connections with clients – those who I can grow with and who can depend on me – knowing that we are a team and that we are in this together.
FOCUSED INTENTIONS AND PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY . . .
>> I am a self-described “determined idealist” who strives to:
provide a comprehensive strategic plan, legal structure, advice, and risk analysis in order to avoid and eliminate future issues and assist entrepreneurs with accelerated growth;
fight for fairness and justice on behalf of my clients;
move forward into action - often thinking outside the box prioritizing innovation, creativity, and solution - to advance my client’s thoughts, ideas, goals, and visions into new business ventures;
support the intentions, passions, and goals of clients who seek to make this world a better place;
provide thorough, intelligent, efficient, cost-effective, and skilled representation to individuals and businesses working for a favorable resolution to any project, situation, negotiation, conflict, or dispute;
maintain consistency as a generalist in order to provide overall comprehensive general counsel services to business clients, while also applying specialized experience to the situation at hand {which also includes knowing when to call in another expert and having an outstanding vetted network of colleagues to call upon and count on};
provide full-service representation, combining legal and business planning from startup through growth, to specific clients who may start with a grand idea/needed product/perfect inspiration, who then want to package that idea and vision into a multi-faceted business enterprise {such that I can be part of the foundation needed for each client to let his/her light shine in his/her own unique way!};
focus on overall client service and satisfaction for any and all legal representation – with integrity, character, trust, truth, quality results, and ultimate success.

Collaborative teamwork and comprehensive client service are important. Although ethical obligations and licensing can create dividing lines between the services I provide and what others provide to a business, I often serve as part of a broader network and team of collaborators in support of new, small, and mid-sized businesses, ensuring that the client is served and protected not only through my legal representation, but also in the areas of marketing, social media, technology, finance, risk assessment, and other needed customized services.
Community, collaboration, and professional connection are important. I seek professional connection, collaboration, support, and engagement with other women and minority professionals and businesses, with a goal to cross-promote, support, network, and forward our common causes.
Personal growth, achievement, and alignment are important. I work to ensure that my personal priorities flow through my professional activities, focusing on core values such as integrity, character, truth, authenticity, empowerment, support of others, spirit, nature, friendship, family, environmental impact, balance, vulnerability, working through fear, challenge, stimulation, growth, love, laughter, and joy.
